Enjoy early morning expeditions as the sun rises, often the most productive of times. Sport can be hectic and wonderfully exciting. On light gear bass are a great sport fish, and a very handsome fish also.

Fly fishing, spinning lures and plastic eels, surface poppers are all methods used on light tackle. Trailing and drifting are productive, as is anchoring up at times.

To witness bass feeding on the surface has got to be one of my favourite experiences in angling. Terns and gannetts work as the bass drive the sand eels and baitfish to the surface. The screaming terns often give away the location of the fish.
